BEWARE BY DISCOUNT STOCK BROKER : Shekhar's Tech
Once I opened account with a discount broker.
They charged 11% margin against 6% set by NSE.
They said they charge just 5% higher.
But my return will go down by 50%.
After that I never look at discount brokers.

No standard answer, somebody may be good to you, may be bad to me.
For me, criteria for good broker:
1. NEST trading terminal.
2. Good back office software.
3. Follow only NSE rules, not adding any extra rules.
4. Keeping their promises.
5. Intraday limits.
